I was lucky enough to spend Mardi Gras day as part of the Krewe of Elks-Orleanians. It was such a fun experience to be on the other side, throwing instead of catching. I’d love to do this every year – it was a blast! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day.

In case you haven’t already noticed, my new blog-site is live! Its actually been up for a couple weeks now and I’ve slowly been adding the finishing touches.

I added some info to the About, Info, and Contact pages. I am categorizing all my old posts and soon, you will be able to access “galleries” of my work using the Categories menu above. I’m also compiling a list of blogs I read and some other links to add to the Links menu. This blog-site will be pretty sweet when I finish all the details. Leave me some comments and let me know what you think.

In addition to the finishing touches on the site, I’m also finalizing my 2009 pricing. I’m still working out the details for some NEW products (very exciting stuff!!), but I’m mostly finished with the pricing for this year. I am no longer offering my portfolio building discounts this year, BUT….. I think you will be very pleased with the new pricing and the approach I’m taking with print collections. When you look over my new pricing, pay close attention to the details of the collections and the wonderful gifts you can earn! Pay very very close attention to the VIP discount pricing! I decided to try my hand at macro photography today. Just a few images of the random wild flowers in the back yard.

I recently discovered the I heart faces photography blog from a link on the MCP actions blog. I submitted two photos to the contest this week and I linked my entry directly to my flickr account. I wanted to go ahead and post about it here also because I think the iheartfaces site is too cool!
