Allie stopped by today with Mom to see Ethan. I had the camera out to take a few pictures of Ethan, and I asked Allie to pose as well. She didn’t really want to, but eventually she decided to humor me. I’m glad she did

Here’s a picture of my beautiful sister, Allie. Well, I have two beautiful sisters, but Victoria lives in Texas, so she’s not such an easy subject to capture. I glammed this photo up a bit at Allie’s request, and added a little texture because I’m enjoying the textured look at the moment.

Yesterday afternoon, Aaron suggested that we walk down to Jack Reed Park so he could take some pictures of me and Ethan together, since there really aren’t any pictures of me and Ethan together. It was the “golden hour”, the hour right before sunset (or right after sunrise), which is the perfect light for taking pictures. I wanted to practice shooting with lots of backlight, so it was a good opportunity for me to practice too. We got some really awesome pics of each other and baby boy. Here are my favorites:

On Sunday, I had the opportunity take some maternity pictures. This was my first session of 2008 and first ever maternity session. I’m pleased with how the photos turned out. I hope that Mandy and her family enjoyed it as much as I did. Thanks, Mandy, for letting me photograph your beautiful family. I had a really great time, and I can’t wait to show you the rest of the pictures!
