Christmas with the B family

Another Christmas session! Every year the B family comes to me for beautiful portraits and Christmas cards, and I always look forward to our sessions. This time Jack was more interested in being a typical toddler than having his picture taken. Lots of serious faces! He was actually really great. He sat right down and looked right at me!

But he did make me work a bit to get a smile!

Sneak Peek – Ashton

This afternoon I had another session with my buddy, Ashton! Ashton is getting so big, I cannot believe it! He’s now a year old and on the verge of walking, and of course, just as sweet as ever

To follow up from my last post, here he is with Miss Angelle, just after she planted a big kiss on his cheek.

So cute! Little Ash takes a ride in his wagon every day, and as you can see, he thoroughly enjoys it!

Allie & Ethan

Again, another not so sneak peek! My youngest sister Allie came in town for Ethan’s birthday last month. It was her birthday month as well. My gift to Allie was a photography session with Ethan to capture images for an awesome wall display for her new apartment. Although I’ve already released her gallery and designed her wall display, I wanted to come back to the blog and share a few of my favorites from her session.

I apologize for the humongous share, but I just can’t help it! These are two of my favorite people and this was honestly one of my favorite photo sessions. The color and emotion were amazing!

Sneak Peek – The M Family

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the M family for a family session. This awesome family was in serious need of a new family portrait. They had not been in front of the camera together in 10 years! I feel honored that they chose me to capture of a glimpse of who they are as a family today.

Let me tell you about the M family…
They are laid back and easy going. They are charming and funny. They are beautiful and handsome. They love their pets. They have really wonderful relationships – as a family, as a couple, as parents, and as siblings. They are fun to be around and they make me smile.

M family – it was truly a pleasure to meet you and photograph your family! I hope you enjoy your extended sneak peek. I really could not pick just a couple of favorites to show you early. I usually post a sneak peek of my favorites right after the session, but in this case, I had to take extra time to share extra photos. Enjoy!

Nismo and Toby were wonderful! So sweet and so well behaved. I think they had as much fun as we did!

Sneak Peek – Baby G

Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing sweet baby G. He was wide awake and alert our entire session, but he barely fussed. He was so quiet and sweet – a pleasure to photograph.

Here are my favorite images from our session. I hope you enjoy!

This hat was a special request by Baby G’s mother. I usually do not prefer to see the diaper in a photo, but something about this hat and this image made the diaper seem appropriate. And don’t let him fool you… He’s not sleeping. I just caught him mid blink!

The B Family – Sneak Peek!

A few months ago, I got together with my cousin to take pictures of her son, Jack. Now that the holiday season is here, Jacey asked me to photograph the whole family. We met this afternoon in Picayune for a quick session get some new pictures of Jack and a new family picture for the holidays. Jack wasn’t looking forward to his session today, but we were able to cheer him up for quite a few great pictures It was too hard to narrow down a few for a sneak peek, so this is an extra large sneak peek, LOL.

OK, this last picture just cracks me up. It is so cute and funny! Jack really was not amused by Ethan’s rocking chair, LOL. He didn’t care to sit in it, but I don’t think he knew how to get down. He would just slide down like this and pout. So funny!

I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek! I also hope we get the chance to get the boys together sometime soon. I’d love to have new pictures of them together

The V Family – Holiday Mini

This morning I met with the V Family for a Holiday Mini Session. This was one CUTE family! The kids were so sweet and well behaved, and you can tell already that A will be such a wonderful big brother. He loves his sister You can also feel the love the mom and dad have for each other and for their children. Just look at how happy Dad looks in this first picture. I love it!

Big brother looks a little unsure about the whole photo idea in that first shot, but don’t let him fool you. He warmed up in no time and had lots of fun for the camera.

This one is a bit of an outtake, but it is one of my favorites from the whole session. I love his personality! He was so sweet and so much fun today.

S Family – Sneak Peek!

I had a wonderful session with the S family today. Beautiful family, beautiful home, beautiful weather. It could not have been a better or more beautiful day to take pictures in their spectacular home. The light was gorgeous and warm and very cooperative.

This weekend, I had the opportunity to photograph cute little girls in their matching Easter dresses. These cousins were just lovely, and its no surprise when you see their beautiful moms.
